Cretan Stitch and Introducing Crewel Work with Trellis Stitch.

Cretan stitch is a really lovely stitch made in the same way as blanket stitch but worked from alternate sides to make a beautiful crossing middle. The Trellis Stitch in the oak leaf is introducing a crewel work technique called laid work. It's lovely to stitch and you can makee wonderfully different effects with it. I added another leaf stitched with back to back blanket stitches too.
