Debt Collector dan Ormas Ricuh di Depan Polsek Pedurungan Semarang Dipicu Masalah Utang Piutang

The clash between a group of debt collectors and members of a community organization (ormas) in front of the Pedurungan Police Station, Semarang City, on Wednesday evening (July 15, 2026) apparently stemmed from a personal debt collection case at a house in Gemah Village the day before. Although the two parties reached a settlement through restorative justice (RJ) at the Pedurungan Police Station, tensions allegedly continued outside the police station, culminating in stone-throwing, resulting in injuries. Pedurungan Police Chief, Commissioner Navy Pradhana Prima Satya, revealed that the series of events began on Tuesday evening (July 14, 2026) after sunset prayers. At that time, three individuals with the initials D, R, and E, from a savings and loan cooperative, came to the home of a resident with the initials E in neighborhood association (RW) 12, Gemah Village, to collect a debt. However, the collection process allegedly took place in an emotionally charged manner.
