Rebuilding the 200 4R: Accumulator Piston Tip for Fine Tuning Your 1-2 Shift

The 200-4R can be difficult to mechanically calibrate, especially if you're working with a core that came from a low-output engine which is the majority of them. The 1-2 shift can be especially tricky however there's a few things you can do collectively to firm up the shift without blocking off the 1-2 accumulator circuit altogether: 1. Install an aftermarket billet servo 2. Install an aftermarket valve body recalibration kit 3. Perform a simple modification to the 1-2 accumulator housing This video covers #3 and shows you how to do it.
