Hello! This is Hong Su-dal. On Friday, July 25th, I enjoyed playing in the water at Gwangpum Falls in Onjeong-myeon, Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do! The waterfall had a unique feel, and the water was 4.5 meters deep, a vibrant blue, reminiscent of the ocean. There was a lifeguard on duty, and life jackets were available for free. When I visited, it was recommended, not mandatory! There's a small parking lot and restrooms! On Saturday, July 26th, in front of the Jiksan-ri Community Center in Pyeonghae-eup, Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do, I enjoyed snorkeling alone, as if it were a weekday! Surrounded by rocks, the water was calm, the water was cool, and there were areas with moderate depth, as well as shallow areas with an indoor pool. It was a great place for both adults and children who are afraid of the ocean to experience the ecosystem! I also took a relaxing walk at the nearby Pyeonghae Sand Dune Wetland World Geopark, and it was a truly enjoyable trip! I recommend the route I visited, including Sinseon Valley, Gwangpum Falls, Jiksan-ri 2-1, and Pyeonghae Sand Dune Wetlands, when traveling to Uljin! I hope you have a cool summer.
