The combination of the Takada Castle three-story turret and the cherry blossoms creates a fantastical scene. This view is counted among the "Three Great Night Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots in Japan." The cherry blossoms at Takada Castle reached full bloom on April 5th (Sunday). Yesterday, the park was bustling with many people during the day, and many stayed late into the evening to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. Currently, Joetsu City is experiencing calm weather with no wind. It's a little chilly, but a light coat is sufficient. Today was also bustling with many people during the day. That's the "Cherry Blossom Road." We just finished reporting on this area, so please enjoy the report. This cherry blossom road is approximately 300 meters long and lined with cherry trees. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom on both sides, and looking up, they form an arch, creating a tunnel-like space. While sitting under the trees to enjoy cherry blossom viewing is nice, strolling along this cherry blossom road and admiring the blossoms is also wonderful. And what better way to enjoy the cherry blossoms than with some delicious food? There are rows and rows of stalls here. Apparently, there are about 110 shops in the park during this period. There's a wide variety of food, from Poppo-yaki (a local snack) to beef skewers and potatoes. Among them, what I want to introduce today is a limited-edition cherry blossom-themed sweet. The "Cherry Blossom Granola Bar" is covered in pink chocolate and looks delicious. This sweet was created through a collaboration between a confectionery shop in Joetsu City and an influencer. Now, let's try it! The scent of cherry blossoms fills your mouth, and it's absolutely delicious. Enjoying cherry blossoms with some gourmet food sounds wonderful, doesn't it?
