ABBA - Lay All Your Love On Me - Bass cover

The song was released in 1980. It is about intense attraction that becomes possessive when the desire takes us over. The bass line by the genius Rutger Gunnarsson is precise and economical. It has controlled note lengths and small rhythmic pushes. I always liked how much drive he could create by leaving out some of the strong beats. Bass used: Fernandes Burny Jazz Bass Recorded with Garageband and OBS Studio powered by Presonus Studio 68c. The sound chain includes Boss OC-5 Octaver, Empress Compressor, Sonic Maximizer, B85 Audio Overdrive, BOSS CEB-3 Chorus and SansAmp Tech 21 Bass Driver D.I. V.2 (EQ flat). Song info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lay_All... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Not necessarily 100% like the original, but for use in a cover band. This is neither a studio recording nor a tutorial video. This is to honour the composers and previous generations of musicians and to enjoy the song as it is. Yes, there are mistakes and I hope to be able to play the tune better one day :-)
