Infidels: Bob Goes Secular | Discovering Bob Dylan, Ep. 24
Bob returns from Christianity with a whole new sound. The sound of the 1980s. Critics are back in Bob's corner and everything is alright in the world... or is it? Is the sound of Bob Dylan and Mark Knoplfer going to win Joe over after the mediocre Shot of Love? And much like Shot of Love, Bob left off some of his best songs, including the much revered Blind Willie McTell. What was Bob thinking? Well, it was the 80s, a tough time for 60s music stars across the board. Plus everyone was on a lot of drugs. So it's hard to tell. What do you think of Infidels? A return to form or a step into the black of the 80s? Or somewhere in the middle? Leave your thoughts in the comments. Thanks for watching! #bobdylan #infidels
