Six Year's On The Great Central Railway !

A look back at some of my most memorable scenes on the Great Central Railway spanning over a six year period, this video has come about due to the railway ending lineside access to photographers barring a few known photographers and as far as I'm aware no videographers have been retained, so such video scenes which are shown in this video are no longer more. All scenes are captioned in the video, with shots taking place from the start of 2013 and ending in 2018. Twenty seven locomotives feature, with the usual display of passenger trains, goods trains, passing trains and thunderous Travelling Post Office Trains, which plenty feature. The main action has always taken place and Quorn and Woodhouse and there's plenty of action from there. Departures out Loughborough Central also feature and the fantastic Swithland Sidings showcases heavily. The action in the video features mainly the double track, as that's the railway's main selling point and there's nothing else preserved in the UK that can recreate a 1950's British railway network.
