Samuel's dish: Schnitzel (Austrian breaded meat) with French fries, lemon, and salad. Drinks: Sparkling apple juice. Tip: If the weather is good, the terrace is a must for the views of the Alps and the city. Price: €36.70 for two super-large dishes and the panoramic experience. Chopping board: hard and soft cheeses, hams, sausages, nuts, grapes, olives, and rustic bread—the ideal Alpine farmers' snack. Accompaniment: half-liter beers, with spectacular views. Samuel also ordered: another huge portion of Käsespätzle, because there's never enough cheese in Austria. Price: €35 total for the appetizers, the dishes, and the beers. Feeling: one of the best lunches of the trip, with the added bonus of the scenery. 🎁 Souvenirs and Sweets to Take Away Mozartkugel: a must-have for gifts (or to devour at the hotel).
