Nouns function as subject, object, direct and indirect object, prepositional object and possessive forms in a sentence. Using the various types of nouns learned in the earlier 2 videos in these functions in examples given explain how nouns are used in a sentence. For fluent and accurate communication, it is essential to know these functions and use them correctly. Detailed explanation with examples of all the cases in which a noun can function in a sentence has been given in the video. This is followed by test passages where learners can evaluate their ability to spot and use them. Tests are graded into 3 levels: beginners, mid-level and advanced. These test passages can also be used for listening and reading practice. The passages can also serve as the basis for speaking and writing about the topic dealt with in the passage.
