Full send at st Matthews field parkrun bridgwater - 4th or April 2026

St Matthews field - 04/04/26 Hi All, And welcome back to the channel. After taking a week off from posting a video, as I did longrun meadow parkrun two weeks in row, so although I did record the run, but I didnt post it. I also didnt like the camera angle, as it was pointing too high. This week we have returned to st matthews field parkrun in Bridgwater, and this is the second time that I have done this parkrun, having done in early January coming 1st in a time of 18:08. Today is my 529th parkrun and having previously been 1st on my one other attempt here, I want to ideally finish 1st again, and again ideally beat my previous time of 18:08 and run a sub 18. The weather time was far from perfect and there was a strong headwind, and although it did start to spit with rain just before the start of the run it didn't rain. This was a bit of a relief given there is quite a of grass and I was wear my Adidas pro 4s which is definitely a road shoe. So st matthews field parkrun is a 3 lap course, and each lap is 1.7k with about 600m of it being on grass and the remaining 1.1k being on stony paths. St matthews is a fairly new parkrun with this being just run number 17.
