🍪Hyderabadi Dum Ke Roat | Traditional Nizami Sweet Recipe🤤

Learn how to make authentic Hyderabadi Dum Ke Roat, a traditional Nizami sweet that’s crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of the rich flavors of saffron, ghee, khoa, and mixed nuts. This classic recipe is perfect for festivals, special occasions, or enjoying with a cup of tea or a glass of warm milk. ✨ Ingredients: • 1½ cups all-purpose flour • 2 cups semolina (sooji) • 2 cups sugar • ½ cup khoa (mawa) • ½ cup desi ghee • 1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder • 1 tsp baking powder • ½ tsp baking soda • ½ cup ground nuts (almonds, cashews & pistachios) • 150 ml milk with a pinch of saffron 👩‍🍳 Method: • Mix all the ingredients together. • Knead into a soft dough using the saffron milk and let it rest for 15 minutes. • Preheat the oven to 140°C. • Shape into round cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with butter paper. • Brush with saffron milk and garnish with your favorite nuts. • Bake at 120°C for 20 minutes. • The roat will be soft when it comes out of the oven. Allow it to cool completely to become crisp. • Enjoy as a cookie or dip it in warm milk for an authentic Hyderabadi experience.
