R2D2 life size RC all metal Star Wars prop movie droid radio remote control a new hope r2 builders

Made from a combination of Original ILM/Lucasfilm parts, R2 Builders Club and scratch built components. This droid can move around and has other working features including retractable grab arm, CPU probe, buzz saw, water canon, flipper arms, periscope, smoke machine and opening head flaps. Working sounds and lighting affects. I restored 3 original R2 units for Elstree Film Props between 2004-2007. I used knowledge and parts from this experience to make my own droid.
