In 2016, Andrew Gaskell embarked on a journey through the Gunung Mulu National Park. A story not as explicitly well known, but a cautionary tale that has proved in many circumstances that one bad decision could lead to your last. In fact, this was not Gaskell's first near-fatal expedition. Just two months before trekking the Pinnacles Trail, Andrew faced another close call while hiking in the Bako National Park, 550 kilometers from where he would later be rescued.
