An Unknown Giant Was Discovered in the Carpathian Mountains by an Expedition Team in 1930.

At the end of the nineteenth century, the well-known traveler Nikolai Przhevalsky, while exploring remote regions of Central Asia, encountered unusual legends among local peoples about men of gigantic stature. In his personal notes — which for various reasons were not included in the official expedition reports — there remained a brief remark about disproportionately large skeletal remains found in Tibetan caves. The researcher himself did not attach much importance to the episode, considering it a curious but secondary fact that did not merit separate scientific attention.
