This interview is hosted by Brutus Malada of The Brutally Honest Conversation, covering a lifespan of a unionist, a man who influenced important events leading to the presidency of Jacob Zuma, a move he later regretted. Zwelinzima Vavi is currently serving as the General Secretary of the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU). One of the revelations that came out this interview is his intention to pass on the batten, after having represented workers as the Deputy Secretary General of COSATU, where he later became the SG (1999 to 2015).
