Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is a South African policy designed to address the economic inequalities created by apartheid. During apartheid, Black South Africans were largely excluded from business ownership, skilled jobs, education, and access to economic opportunities. B-BBEE was introduced to promote greater participation of Black people in the economy. The commissioner addresses all the important points related to the South African economy and shares his recommendations for accelerated job creation through BBBEE policies.
