At 1" Thick i am sure it can stop a lot of different bullets. This material just reminds me of being at the bank. Speaking of BANK, this is expensive! Any time you get quoted for a custom box like this and you think the price is too high, remember, the material is expensive but most of the cost is in the gamble. Just look at this stuff wrong and it is ruined! Don't let anyone lie to you. These type of boxes are a pain in the a**! there is NO second chances and the sheets are almost $700 each. 1" Acrylic is no joke, that is the best way i can put it. So far so good though.
