PDL laser (Vbeam) update and KTP laser test patch for skin redness

This is the follow up to the full face pulsed dye laser (PDL aka Vbeam at 595nm) treatment I had on my face in November 2019. I had the treatment after I had a severe reaction to a topical medication called Brimonidine (marketed as Mirvaso by Galderma), which left my face extremely red and reactive, on a level I'd never experienced before. I did not recover fully from the November 2019 treatment. Actually, I look worse, as I now have marks on my face that were not there before, with worse flushing than before. I believe this may have been fully or partly because of a contact dermatitis episode about 8 weeks post-treatment. A moisturiser by Lucura (sold in Aldi) irritated me severely. Witch hazel within the product was the most likely culprit. A few nights ago I flushed badly as a result of being in a very hot room, which caused a prolonged flushing episode, mostly in the areas that were treated by the Vbeam. After this amount of time, it really should have healed by now, and yet it has only really exaggerated the issue. Today, I had a test patch for a KTP laser (Cutera Excel V at 532nm) on various parts of my face. It is a spot treatment, like the PDL/Vbeam. The clinician drew around the treatment sites so I could continue to monitor the recovery. Within a few hours, it seems any redness or swelling there was moments after the laser has gone away. It's hard to see, but I THINK I see white patches where the laser hit, meaning the redness has gone away in those test areas. KTP is a much gentler laser than PDL. With PDL, you can have months of purpura visible on the face, where the KTP is more likely to be a couple of weeks at most. I am proceeding with extreme caution and asking many questions. Another option with the Cutera Excel V is the 1064nm Nd:Yag mode, with penetrates deeply but is used on a low energy setting. I was told this is not a spot treatment but a wider area and is used specifically for rosacea and or general redness.
