First Gear to Fifth Gear in One Shot
We are making five gears in one set up, as we catch up on a long time project here in the shop. This is not the first time we have cut this same gear over the years and this time we will have four extra gears made for when the next customer comes to needing one. Part one the finish of roughing out the blanks, after boring them to fit spindle, we mount on a 1 1/4" arbor from the K&T collection and finish turning the outside diameter ready for setting up in the mill. ;{)-------
