Standerton residents unhappy with their mayor
Residents of Standerton in Mpumalanga are accusing Mayor Louis Thabethe of failing to consult them over the installation of smart metres, a lack of clean drinking water and the council's failure to deal with potholes. They're planning to march to the Lekwa Local Municipality this morning, to voice their anger. Newzroom Arika's Mweli Masilela is following the story.
