It was announced on 6th March, 2026.[4] A demo version was released on June 16 (JST).[5] The game is scheduled for release in Japan on consoles on 9th July, 2026, and on Steam and worldwide on 10th July, 2026. It is set on the 1st and 2nd Floors of Aincrad. The player character is user-created, and the story features an original character Iori, as well as Argo, Kirito, and Asuna.[6]
