A clever place to store nautical charts on our wooden sailing boat - Stories of boat building (EP85)

Hi everyone, Episode 85 already! Time flies and we find ourselves in a small warm break in the spring chill. A week of warmer weather allows us to add some more meters of fiberglass to the hull, protecting the timber planks for years to come. When the weather eventually turns very cold again we both head below decks to stay warm. Matt works on the Navigation area, our chart table set up, and makes a clever backrest that will hold our nautical charts while cruising. Iefke prepares various bits and pieces for a coat of varnish, not an easy feat when the nights are frosty so the new diesel heater comes in handy for warming up the varnish and the frozen fingers!
