Ceph as Primary Storage for KVM HDD and NVMe Experiences - CloudStack Collaboration Conference 2021

How to build Erasure Coding HDD storage and/or NVMe storage using Ceph behind your KVM CloudStack deployment. Wido den Hollander is a PMC member of the Apache CloudStack Project. He is a CTO of PCextreme and 42on. Wido has started with CloudStack 9 years ago. What attracted his attention is the simplicity of CloudStack and the fact that it is an open-source solution. During the years Wido became a contributor, a PMC member and he was a VP of the project for a year. He is one of our most active members, who puts a lot of efforts to keep the project active and transform it into a turnkey solution for cloud builders.  ------------------------------------- Taking place over 5 days (November 8 – 12), the CloudStack Collaboration Conference 2021 was the first virtual annual get-together of the Apache CloudStack community. It was attended by over 420 people from over 25 countries, from leading enterprises, cloud and IaaS providers, managed service providers, software providers and telcos.
