🇦🇺 Climbing Madge McDonald (25/7b) - Centennial Glen - The Blue Mountains

Bruno (‪@climbstamina‬) and I finally sent this mega classic 25 in the Blue Mountains before the end of 2022. This route has been on my list ever since I started climbing outdoors in 2019! The moves on video may seen very easy, but in reality it's not that simple. I had trouble working on that crimpy section at the bottom. Until I found some good feet I could rely on, then it started to get better. Then there's the first undercling move, which is a bit committing, but not super hard. The 4th clip can be hard to clip, and easy to pump out. I had to work on some micro beta to help me do this easier, to save energy for the top. From the 4th clip, some people go left to a side pull (I heard this is where the expression McDougal comes from...? Is this true? Can anyone confirm this?), but the most common (and obvious, considering the line of the bolts) I think is going straight up. Both Bruno and I used the same beta for the top. Only after I sent it I started exploring the different betas. In my opinion, all the different betas are about the same difficulty. What's your beta?
