🇦🇺 Non-Climbers Amazing Multi-Pitch - Shandy - Blue Mountains

Took my non-climbing friends to this great outdoors experience. This is an amazing option to take that friend that doesn't climb, but is always asking you to take them climbing some time! 4 abseils, walking and abseiling through a crack corridor, and climbing a very easy route, on approach shoes, with the best view!!! It can't get better than that! After the 4th abseil, find the track that goes right along the wall. Follow this track passing the start of Dirty Rotten Pigs (You will identify it by a sling hanging from the first bolt). Keep walking until you find a track that goes right and up some steps. Take this track up and right for another 30 meters or so. That's where Shandy starts. The first pitch will need some bolt plates. One 60m rope is long enough for the whole journey. You will need around 6 bolt plates for the carrot bolts. Stay safe, it can be sketchy walking near the cliff in some parts. Use the rope as much as possible. Put a knot at the end of the ropes when abseiling. Use prussik and fireman's belay. You won't need your climbing shoes, the climb is that easy! Let others know about your day plan. If you are a beginner, this is not the best option for you! Although it's an easy climb, you need to know how to abseil, use prussik, climb a rope, set up an anchor and top belay. Make sure you have someone experienced with you!
