OUR Education Series: Data Management and Research

This session covers the fundamentals of RDM techniques and best practices, ranging from proper file management to protecting sensitive data. Implementing these practices will help researchers at all levels increase the efficacy and reproducibility of their work. Presenter: Madison Golden, MLIS, is an Assistant Research Data Management Librarian at the University of Utah’s J. Willard Marriott Library. She has an interdisciplinary background which includes her prior role as a corporate Data Governance Specialist and her Bachelor’s Degree in Art. Madison is passionate about increasing equity in the research space by supporting early career researchers to find and access data resources and maximize the impact of their work through data management and sharing.
