OUR Education Series: Writing in STEM
Writing in the STEM fields is central to the sharing and disseminating information. All scientists and engineers write in their careers, whether they are in academic positions or working in industry. This session will provide insight into the various types of writing in STEM disciplines: what forms writing takes and what the expectations for fulfilling them well are. Students should come away with a better understanding of the role of writing in their field and what constitutes quality writing. Presenter: Dr. Maureen Mathison, Associate Professor, Writing and Rhetoric
