W463 Transfer Case Fix: DIY Actuator Motor Installation G WAGON

In this video, I replace the transfer case actuator on my 2003 Mercedes-Benz G500 (W463). The vehicle started experiencing issues and displaying 'tc in neutral' messages. This video walks through the removal and replacement process, along with tips that may help if you’re dealing with similar symptoms on a W463 G-Class. It is the same actuator motor on all g class models after 2001-2018 G270 G320 G400 G500 G55 G63 G65 etc. The Mercedes G-Wagon W463 platform is known for its durability, but like any vehicle, components such as the transfer case actuator can fail over time especially with age and use. The earlier models were more prone to this fault and over time the component was 'beefed up' to try and increase longevity.
