Daily Recap July 10th 2026

Daily Recap July 10th 2026 None of us wanted to wake up and function today after a week of being drained. Jer went to bed late and I had an early morning advocacy meeting. I also had to prep and boil all our water today as we are still under a boil water advisory. Between the syringes, oral care, medical items, the boys personal hygiene, laundry and more, especially how often we wash our hands, we need clean water. Jer and the boys didn’t get up till near noon. He didn’t want to brush his teeth as usual, but we got it done. He laid down most of the day and had alot to say. I love his little laughs because it blesses my soul deeply. I then had a bright idea to use one of the gifts his dad got him for Christmas and create a coloring book for him and Amir. I made them one each with a few pages using their pictures. I was so excited and well…Jer was “mad” and said “no”. We have all different types of crayons but that didn’t work neither did him seeing Amir color. If it’s one thing we know for sure, Jer communicates what he likes and definitely what he doesn’t like. I pray everyone had a good day. Today we pray that the little things bless your soul deeply, like the sound of a laugh or the memories that make you smile, or even the smell of fresh cut grass. May we be reminded of God’s goodness in all His creation despite how tiring things may often seem. May we cling to that blessed assurance knowing He made us in His image and likeness, picture perfect according to His Will even if we don’t like it. May we never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore. 💚🙏 Happy Friday 💚🙏
