June 21st and trip recap 2026

This video combines a few days, minus the Seaworld trip and the banquet award from the conference that was posted separately. I still have to catch up posts on other platforms. I was so thankful Zadia went with us because she was a rockstar with Jer as always. At the banquet Jer took off flying at high speed and there I was running to stop him in my dress. He then danced with Eva after and the next day they hung out with some Mito friends. They had youth sessions and Jer also said “uhh” when the therapy dog licked him. He slept really well on those beds, I may need to look into a mattress topper for him. I did yoga to reset before we started our trip back home. His secretions were so thick but we cleared his lungs well, it also had a taint but it’s clear today. The weather was so bad coming home and we stopped twice to change Jer and rest his back. By the time I got in my feet were swollen but Nurse T took him and man I didn’t even have to help. She and Zadia did his night care and I got up at 5:30am so T could go back to her other job. Both her and Zadia squeezed us in their work schedules and I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude. Between them and Amber, my boy is cared for skillfully with love. I don’t have to question anything and I’m so thankful to God! Jer was happy to be home, the boys want to go back lol, and we rested all day while I unpacked and did laundry from the trip. Apparently I got him the wrong Cheetos and he was happy to see my eldest JJ who didn’t get to go. Tomorrow I want to share three things - one about support as a parent at the conference, a speech I gave and I’ll find a nice way to reply to all of the comments where people questioned why I would take Jer far etc. Let me pray about it first to get my mind right on a clean heart. For now, goodnight and thanks for all of your love, prayers, well wishes and support. I still need to do a post on the award I received too. Today we pray that you thank God for traveling mercies and never take the freedom to travel and even to move for granted. May you be brave enough to connect with community and be thankful for those experiences that are priceless.
