Exploring nature's hidden masterpieces.#Muqalcave

Hello friends! Welcome back to Anool's Stories. Last week, we visited Muqal Cave, located near Wadi Bani Khalid, along with our AO family members. The cave is about a 3-hour drive from Muscat. We started our journey at 3:00 AM so we could reach the site before sunrise and enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere. From the main pool at Wadi Bani Khalid, it's about a 1 km walk to Muqal Cave. The path is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully arranged with steps and safety fences, making the hike comfortable. To explore inside the cave, you'll need a headlamp or a torch. As you go deeper, you'll have to bend down, squeeze through narrow rocky passages, and even crawl in some sections before reaching the larger chambers. One of the most fascinating experiences is hearing the sound of underground water flowing beneath the hard rocks. Small streams run through the cave, creating a magical atmosphere. To reach the hidden underground water pools, you'll need to squeeze through very narrow passages and crawl carefully—but the adventure is absolutely worth it!
