She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton in 1976, followed by her DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1979. Dr. DeCicco proudly served as an Active Duty U.S. Navy Dentist from 1979 to 1987, continuing her service as a Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserves until 2001.
