Welcome back to my kitchen! Today we will make bread together! As always, this recipe is easy for me, a person with Crohn's disease, to digest. It is fully plant-based and gluten-free. I was able to reach deep remission from Crohn's without medication by eating foods just like this! On this channel I am sharing my experience. My adapted recipe: 2 1/2 cups gluten-free flour blend 5 tablespoons arrowroot powder 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups water 3 tablespoons psyllium husk powder 1. Put the dry ingredients in a countertop mixer. 2. Put the water and psyllium husk powder in a glass measuring cup and whisk until thick. Leave to set for 10 minutes. 3. Put the psyllium husk powder mixture into the dry ingredients and mix on low for 3-5 minutes or until the dough is smooth and all the flour is incorporated. 4. Shape, score the top, and bake for 55 minutes at 390 degrees F. 5. Allow to cool, then slice and eat fresh, heated, or toasted! Why no yeast? https://nutritionfacts.org/video/does...
