Scenes recorded from Binnaway to Werris Creek of Southern Shorthaul Railroad locomotives 602, 48s35, 48s28, 4908 & 4911 being driven by Bernie Baker hauling grain train no.8548 from Trangie to Moree on Wednesday August 2nd, 2017. In typical Bernie fashion I received a call from him at around 10pm telling me I need to be out at Binnaway around dawn in time to record him arriving with what some of us used to term a "Mike Moy classic combo". No time to get any sleep, so packed the van and spent most of the night driving. Arrived there with about twenty minutes to spare, and could already hear the locos working hard on the approach to Binnaway, where they arrived just after sunrise. Then spent the rest of the day following the train across to Werris Creek recording the video you are about to enjoy. Thanks Bernie, and may you R.I.P.
