An Interesting Day on the Short South in April 1996 - 4K
On Saturday 13th April 1996 we spent a very interesting day on the Short South. 3801 was running a tour, 42220 was leading the Griffith Express and there was a mix of 81's, G's, 422s and 82s on the usual Saturday parade of Freights; with a nice quin on a steely. But perhaps the real and unexpected bonus of the day's running was a number of 48s running both in the shafts and as a multicoloured quin.
