Fly Fishing in Medicine Bow National Forest, Wyoming - EXTENDED VIDEO - The Traveling Tacos

Lookout Lake is located inside Medicine Bow National Forest outside of Laramie, Wyoming. The Traveling Tacos cast her line here during part of her solo backpacking trip one weekend in July. We arrived at Lake Marie on Friday afternoon and hiked up The Lakes Trail, before setting up camp on the banks of Lookout Lake. This was my first ever successful backpacking trip by myself and I was so happy to have picked such a beautiful place to adventure in! Saturday morning was spent fly fishing on Lookout Lake. The fish were jumping and hitting the top water like crazy. I used a 24" blue wing olive dry fly with Loon Flotant and overall was able to catch 6 Brook Trout in under 2-hours!
