Twenty-Four Nineteen is not just a documentary; it's a way of understanding something I'm still learning to live with: the loss of my mother. During the process, I realized that grief can't be neatly organized or resolved just like that. It's a long, unscripted process, with many ups and downs, but also with a great deal of learning. This documentary captures all of that: conversations, moments, and small pieces that bring the story to life and, together, attempt to explain what remains after the loss of a loved one. There's no single truth or clear conclusion. Only the attempt to confront the pain and come to terms with it without avoiding it. It's a work born from loss, but also from memory, love, and the need to understand what happens after grief. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
