Carmen Vega Martín. Reflexiones e hipótesis en torno a obras de Sittow y van der Weyden (11/16)
The presentation is divided into two parts. First, it will address a long-held question concerning Rogier van der Weyden's Descent from the Cross, which may require further study. Then, it will propose a series of hypotheses regarding three portraits by Michel Sittow as alternatives to current interpretations. In both cases, "the copy" plays a significant role. The overall intention is to present reasonable doubts that will encourage new research projects.
