NW Government delegation to meet residents protesting against lack of basic services

Residents of the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality in the North West are protesting against the the lack of basic services, such as water, roads, health facilities and schools - are expected to meet a provincial government delegation today to address their issues. Residents blockaded the busy N4 and R49 with minibus taxis yesterday morning. They eventually reopened the roads but threatened to intensify their protest action should the province not keep its promise to meet with them.
