Legendary F-4E Phantom II Displaying at Belgian Air Force Days, Florennes 2026! | Hellenic Air Force

What a time to be alive. An agressive full flight display of an operational F-4 Phantom in 2026. Absolutely amazing. The 338th Fighter-Bomber Squadron ("Ares") is the last frontline unit of the Hellenic Air Force to operate the iconic McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II. At the Belgian Air Force Days 2026 in Florennes, the squadron brought F-4E AUP serial 01504 (construction number 4455), one of the world's last operational Phantoms. Built in 1972, the aircraft was approximately 54 years old when it appeared at the event, highlighting the remarkable longevity of both the aircraft and the squadron that continues to keep the legendary Phantom in service. A lot can be said about the Belgian Air Force Days 2026. We have attended the spotter's day on Friday, which turned out to be a complete disaster in every way. Still, the highlight of the day was the magnificent Hellenic Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II which did it's practice demo. Then, Saturday 27 June came and the airshow went on in full swing, despite the hot temperatures. This day was the complete opposite of Friday. Well organized and pretty enjoyable (at least for us.) Highlights were the three static F-4E Phantoms, and of course again the full display of the HAF Spook. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Date: 26/27-06-2026 Airport: Florennes Air Base EBFS Gear: Sony AX-53 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Please subscribe and follow us on instagram: www.instagram.com/lama_aviation/ and read our stories at www.lama-aviation.com This video is property of LaMa Aviation and may not be used in any way without permission!
