Spirituality: A way out of the crisis spiral? | Sternstunde Philosophie | SRF Kultur

If we want to survive the climate crisis, we need a radically new way of thinking and feeling. This is the opinion of Nigerian philosopher and psychologist Bayo Akomolafe. In an interview with Yves Bossart, he reveals why spirituality can help us to see the various crises in a completely different light. To do this, we need to understand nature and humans as multi-layered processes that are all interconnected. Akomolafe refers to the West African wisdom tradition of the Yoruba, but also to feminist materialists such as Donna Haraway, who wants to break through rigid concepts and overcome opposites.
