Court Orders Demolition of Illegal Structures at Garden Sewer Ponds

By Martha Kanene The Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company (LWSC) says all illegal structures built at the Garden sewer ponds are set for demolition following a court order. Company Public Relations Manager Ruth Mulenga says that the demolitions will target structures erected illegally on protected sewer pond land. She added that the utility is preparing to commence a sanitation expansion project, with fencing works already underway.
