▶︎Sign up for training: https://www.zavadovskaya.club If you've been skiing for a while and confidently make parallel turns, but haven't developed carving skills, it's because your progress is limited by technique. In this video, I demonstrate five preparatory exercises that help eliminate heel drop, backstance, and rotation, learn how to initiate a turn correctly, transfer weight to the outside ski, and increase edge angle without slipping. These exercises are especially important for all skiers who are accustomed to poor balance and therefore continue to slide instead of carving. Be sure to watch the video to the end; this is where you develop the key feeling of the outside ski, without which a carved turn is impossible. Let me know in the comments which exercise gave you the best results, and come join us for training!
