8.7 Disruptions to Ecosystems - AP Biology (Updated 2025-2026)

In this video, I reiterate how species are well-adapted to their environments through mutation and natural selection, but there are occasions when environments change too drastically or too quickly for species to adapt to them, resulting in biodiversity loss. I detail some of the ways that human activities are causing a loss of biodiversity, as well as some other past geological and meteorological events that have caused biodiversity loss in the past. Notes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11ndw... A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who's been with me along this AP Biology journey! I said this at the end of the video, but I cannot appreciate the love and support that you all have sent my way. I am just happy to be helpful for students (and teachers) like you. If you're an AP Biology student reading this, good luck on your exam and I'm glad to have been a resource for your learning!
