Every year whitewater legend and Green Race local, Shane Benedict from Liquidlogic Kayaks covers the Green Race for us at Kayak Session Magazine. The 27th Annual Green River Narrows Race is only a few more hours away, and Shane for this first video comes back on the past couple of weeks that saw no water flowing down the Green which means almost no training for the hundreds of racers that made the trip to beautiful North Carolina. A conjuntion of a hurricane threatening NC that led the dam company to empty the lake feeding the green, followed by super dry weather led to this unexpected situation. But good news are coming...
