Baat chit with traditional Photographers at India Gate | Evolution of photography

I recently visited India Gate, New Delhi, with the hope of reliving my childhood memories — but what I experienced was completely different. Almost every other person was either trying to click a photo of me or attempting to sell me water bottles. The number of street photographers at India Gate has rapidly increased. At one point, it felt like there were more photographers than tourists. Out of curiosity, I decided to have a conversation with two very different people — one who works as a photographer at India Gate, and another who actually rents cameras to photographers. This raised a big question for me: are all of them truly photographers, or has this simply become another way to earn money? Maybe my perspective feels diluted because my own passion for photography shapes how I see it. I hope you enjoy this video.
