Emacs Avy Tutorial: Moving Around Emacs Buffers Quickly
Avy is one of my favorite packages in Emacs. https://truthseekers.io/lessons/avy-e... Learning how to use Avy is one of the easiest and fastest ways to improve your efficiency in Emacs. The Avy Emacs package allows you to quickly get to any visible point in an Emacs buffer, window, or frame. By using one of the functions Avy provides, you define a search term, and Avy provides a "Tree" list of options to choose from. You choose the point you want your cursor to move to by typing one or two characters and BOOM, your cursor is exactly where you need it. The best part about Avy is how simple it is. You only need one or two key bindings, and you're good to go.
