We bought this abandoned Catamaran one year ago | 51ft James Wharram Project

This is the full story. From the moment we first laid eyes on this 51ft catamaran… to everything we’ve gone through to bring it back to life. This boat was originally started years ago by legendary builder David Halliday, inspired by the designs of James Wharram — one of the most iconic names in catamaran history. But the project was never finished… and for a long time, it sat untouched. Until we found it. In this video, we take you through EVERYTHING: The first time we saw the boat Why we decided to take on this project Moving and setting up the hulls Structural work, beams, and composite construction The challenges we ran into (and there were a lot) Why the videos stopped for a while And where we’re at right now This isn’t just a boat build. This is the start of something much bigger. Our goal is to get this 51ft fully composite catamaran water-ready, sail it, and eventually bring it across the world to support conservation efforts and real-world projects. We’re documenting the entire process — the wins, the setbacks, and everything in between.
