Unloading a lemon | The People's Court
The plaintiff claims that when he and his wife purchased an RV from the defendant, he told them it was in great condition. Soon after, they discovered they couldn’t fill the RV with gas due to a disconnected pipe, and that it wouldn’t go over 35 mph. The plaintiff is suing for the cost of the RV plus a rental car. The defendant says the plaintiff is lying, because he did tell him the RV needed mechanical work. He also says he hasn’t tried to sell it because the plaintiff’s tires are on it.
